Saint Simon (San Maximon)- Green
San Simón, also known as Maximón pronounced (Mah-shee-MOAN) is a folkloric saint venerated by the Mayan people of Western Guatemala as well as those who practice hoodoo and Spiritism.
San Simon can be petitioned for many things. He is also a healer, and he is wonderful with uncrossing and jinx removing work. He can be petitioned for anything you need. It doesn’t t matter if it is revenge, love, money, jinx removing, anything you are in need of he will help you. The one thing that you have to do for him is giving him his offerings.
He is also called upon by those who gamble or play games, for favorable outcomes. He is also known to protect and defend households and his statues are often placed at front doors where he can protect the home with his baton.
Some folks often hold their offerings from their saints until they see results; you can’t do this with San Simon. If you do so, your petition wont be answered. He must be paid upfront when you petition him for his help. One of his offerings are cigarettes, thus he might not be an ideal saint to a nonsmoker (He actually smokes the cigarette). The cigarette is one of his main offerings and he loves them.
His image in the home can provide luck and money.
