What is Florida Water?

Florida Water is a Spiritual Cologne that can be used as part of your daily spiritual hygiene. It has been in existence since the 1800’s, Florida Water is known for its refreshing citrus smell and its strong cleansing properties. Said to cure a headache, soothe a fever and scent a home, the benefits of Florida Water were hailed by all.

Its strong magical properties have made it a staple in Hoodoo, Voodoo, Santeria and Wicca practices.

How to use Florida Water Spiritually?

Florida Water spiritually is used as a popular and powerful cleansing & protective product, that is super versatile. 

One of my favorite ways to use it is as a daily cleanser. Simply cleanse your hands regularly with florida water to help keep yourself clear from energetic debris, the back of your neck, the third eye, your crown, and soles of your feet!

Doing this daily will help you stay clean and clear of energies that may otherwise weigh you down. 

Florida water can also be used in a variety of ways! 

Spiritually Florida water can be used: 

-Splash into corners of home or room before using smoke to cleanse a space
- A rub down for the sick or for those in pain.
-Wear as protective aid against reattachments before cleansing spaces, or against unwanted attachments when out of the home (especially when visiting cemeteries) dab onto wrists, bottoms of feet, palms, & top of head
-Splash into cleansing baths for added purification 
-Drop into floor washes to clear residual or stagnant energy from home/workplace
-Cleanse your altars & yourself with it before spiritual work
-Wipe down spiritual tools to get rid of energy picked up from people -It has calming affect on people and some believe it can help depression.
-Use your body to keep sadness away.
-When seeking guidance from ancestors, placing a glass of Florida Water on your altar will clear the air of any static and interference to allow for a clear reading. -When blessing and cleansing a new home, mix Florida Water with Basil and Rue herbs and anoint your floors, windows and doorways for protection, prosperity and luck.
-After a bath, dab some Florida water cologne on your head, neck, heart, and feet for protection and a feeling of balance.
-Bring peace into the workplace by using Florida Water Spray in your office.
-Wash your hands with Florida Water Soap after engaging with negative people or being in a negative environment.
-Those who tend to engage in gossip or just talk too much can benefit from it’s calming affects.
